Georgetown County Fire/EMS is Hiring!!! 

Georgetown County Fire/EMS is seeking Full Time and Part Time Firefighter/EMTs and Firefighter/Paramedics to provide basic and advanced life support, emergency transport of sick and injured as well as fire ground support and fire suppression duties as required.

Full Time Starting Salaries
Firefighter I/EMT - Base salary $37,117 with built-in FLSA overtime from 24 hour shifts up to $40,207
(Must obtain National Registry and SC EMT within one year of employment).

Firefighter I/Paramedic - Base salary $45,224 with built-in FLSA overtime from 24 hour shifts up to  $48,989
(Must obtain IFSAC Firefighter 1 certification within one year of employment). 
 
Part Time Hourly Pay
FF/EMT: $11.61
Paramedic: $13.47
FF/Paramedic: $14.78

Applicants must be 18 years of age and must be certified as a SC Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic, and Nationally Registered EMT or Paramedic, Interior Structural Firefighter or NFPA/IFSAC Firefighter I. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License and High School diploma or equivalent. Full Time and Part Time positions are also available for personnel holding only Paramedic certification (Full Time Paramedics will be required to complete Firefighter certification within one year of employment).
